The green and climate justice movement is ripe with anti-fat bias. Calories are not the problem, capitalism is! In an effort to evoke change towards more eco friendly systems, we see messaging that pathologizes fat bodies and continues to perpetuate diet culture rhetoric and encourage symptoms of orthorexia (i.e. "clean" eating). In this month's Circle, we will discuss a few articles provided to our members that highlight the connection between body liberation and environmental/climate justice.
